About

Mr. Garcia joined the Institute of Precision Pain Medicine in 2017 and has practiced medicine as a physician assistant for almost  years. He is a native Corpus Christian who returned home shortly after completing his medical training to serve the community in which he grew up being a part of.  He began his career caring for the indigent population of the Rio Grande Valley where he treated a multitude of complex cases.  

 

His experience includes Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Geriatric Medicine, Occupational Medicine and Urgent Care.  Armando Garcia is a nationally certified physician assistant and a current member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants.  His very own life experiences serve as the foundation for his genuine interest in medicine and in caring for the well-being of others.  Here at the Institute of Precision Pain Medicine, Mr. Garcia is an extension of the physicians and is committed to providing quality and compassionate care specially tailored for each individual patient.

 

Mr. Garcia earned his Bachelors degree in Physician Assistant Studies with a minor in Biology from the University of Texas - Pan American in 2005 where he was awarded with Dean’s List 1st Honors.  He then obtained his Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Medicine in 2009 with an emphasis in Internal Medicine.  

 

When away from clinical practice, Mr. Garcia enjoys spending time with his family, camping, the outdoors, health fitness, fast cars and professional sports.  He is fluent in English and Spanish.
